Refund & Cancellation Policy

Subscriptions

Northeast Deal Intel offers monthly and annual subscription plans for access to our deal intelligence platform, email alerts, and market analysis. All subscriptions are billed automatically through Stripe.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you retain full access through the period you've already paid for. No partial-month refunds are issued for monthly plans on cancellation.

To cancel, email [email protected] with your account email and we'll process it promptly. You can also manage your subscription directly through the Stripe customer portal if you have access.

Refunds

We offer refunds in the following situations:

7-day refund window: If you subscribed within the last 7 days and haven't found value in the Service, contact us for a full refund — no questions asked.
Billing errors: If you were charged incorrectly (e.g., duplicate charge, wrong amount), we will issue a full refund of the erroneous amount immediately upon verification.
Annual plans: Annual subscribers who cancel within 30 days of their renewal date may request a prorated refund for unused months.
Service outage: If the Service is unavailable for an extended period (48+ hours) due to issues on our end, we will credit or refund the affected period.

Free Trials

Free trials are not charged until the trial period ends. You may cancel at any time during the trial period without being charged. If you forget to cancel and are charged at the end of a free trial, contact us within 7 days and we will issue a full refund.

API Access

API subscription fees are handled the same as standard subscription fees. Refunds for API usage overages or billing errors follow the same policy above.

Non-Refundable Items

Months already used (beyond the 7-day window)
One-time purchases such as featured listing placements or sponsored content
Subscriptions cancelled mid-period (access continues through the paid period)

How to Request a Refund

Your account email address
The reason for your refund request
The charge date and amount (from your Stripe receipt)

We typically respond within 1 business day. Approved refunds are processed within 5–10 business days depending on your bank or card issuer.
